Film/Photographs of 10th Anniversary
For more than ten years now, the Europäische Akademie zur Erforschung von Folgen wissenschaftlich-technischer Entwicklungen GmbH has successfully dealt with questions arising from science and engineering, life and medical sciences. The Europäische Akademie celebrated its 10th anniversary with many guests present. Amongst others, the then Secretary of Science, Education, Research and Culture of the Land Rheinland-Pfalz Professor Dr. Zöllner, and the then Chairman of the German Aerospace Center, Professor Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dr.h.c.mult. Wittig offered their congratulations to the Director of the Europäische Akademie, Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. Gethmann.
Others who came to congratulate included Professor Dr. Kröll, former president of the Hermann-von-Helmholtz Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren, and Dr. Ziller, former State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The evening started with a round of talks by the original founders of the academy, followed by the screening of a film about the academy´s work and another discussion with the project groups’ chairs.
