Study Groups

Besides the interdisciplinary project groups, the Europäische Akademie works in study groups. Study groups – similarly to the project groups – focus on the scientific study of the consequences of scientific and technological advance for the individual and social life of the human being. Study groups are chosen when research needs to be done within a very limited time-frame, when basic research is needed, or the topic, as such, is too limited for a project group. Particularly, internal research is done within the study groups to guarantee the transfer of knowledge from project to study groups.
